We are excited to kick off this year’s series of summer workshops with the first one being ‘Tie and Dye’. Join us for fun-filled and creative sessions where you will learn ‘the art of tying and dyeing fabrics to create unique and beautiful designs’.

What is Tie & Dye?
Tie and dye is a well-known fabric dyeing technique that involves tying and folding the fabric before immersing it in dye, thus creating unique patterns and designs. The process involves pre-washing the fabric, preparing the dye, creating the desired pattern, tying the fabric, dyeing it, rinsing, untying, setting the color, washing the fabric, and hanging it to dry. Different techniques can be used to create a variety of designs.

What you’ll learn?
In this 3-day extensive workshop, our expert instructor will be guiding you through the process of creating your very own tie-dye masterpiece. You will learn how to create different patterns and designs using various tying techniques, and experiment with a range of vibrant colors to create your own personalized piece of wearable art.

Who can do Tying and Dyeing?
‘Anybody and Everybody!’ This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore their creative side and try something new this summer. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a complete beginner, you’ll leave the workshop with a newfound appreciation for the art of tie-dyeing and a one-of-a-kind piece of clothing that you can wear with pride.

Payment: Participants must pay the full fee for the Tie and dye Workshop at the time of registration to confirm their spot in the workshop. The fee is non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by the organiser.

Cancellation: The charges paid are non-refundable in case of a change of mind or no-show. In case of cancellation of the event from the organiser’s end, the fee of those who have paid will be refunded in the period of 14 working days from the planned date of the workshop.

Minimum age: The ‘Tie and Dye’ workshop is open to participants aged 16 years or older. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Safety: Participants must take basic safety measures provided by the instructor during the workshop. This also includes using tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Photography: Photography is allowed during the workshop, but participants must obtain permission from the instructor and other participants before taking any photos.

Liability: The organizer and instructor are not responsible for any injury or damage to property that may occur during the workshop. Participants assume all liability and risk associated with their participation.

Code of conduct: Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner towards the instructor and other participants. No candidate is allowed to exchange contact information with the instructor in and outside the premises. Any inappropriate behavior or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the workshop.

Workshop learning: Such workshops are conducted to impart knowledge in a structured manner thus involving people in groups rather than just one individual in the whole batch. As everyone’s time is precious and valuable, kindly allow every individual in the group to interact with the instructor. This will not only allow everyone to learn equally but also foster community building and faster learning.

Respect the course structure: Each and every workshop has been designed to cater maximum learning to art lovers joining in. We try to include as much detail as possible while respecting the structure of a basic, intermediate and an advanced level course. Participants are requested to abide by the course structure decided by the organiser and faculty for a smooth learning process. Any participant willing to learn more than the level they have paid for can opt for an advanced level course as and when offered by the academy.

Workshop materials: All materials required for the workshop will be provided by the organizer as they are included in the charges that the participants will pay as mentioned. Participants may not bring their own materials unless approved by the instructor in advance.

Workshop schedule: The organizer reserves the right to modify the workshop schedule, including the date, time, and location of the workshop, at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control. Participants will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
