A workshop under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) was organized on Tuesday at the Jaipur Municipal Corporation auditorium. The event brought together officials from all urban local bodies of Jaipur district along with representatives from the RUDIP/AMRUT 2.0 Project and the Jal Jeevan Mission. The workshop was chaired by Mr. K.K. Gupta, Brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), Rajasthan.

While addressing the participants, Mr. Gupta emphasized that cleanliness is the foundation of citizens’ health and prosperity. He stated that cleanliness is not a one-day task but a continuous responsibility that must be carried out throughout the year.

He further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the collective goal should be to make Jaipur free from potholes, garbage, and plastic. Any negligence in sanitation work, he added, will not be tolerated.

Community Participation for a Cleaner Jaipur

Mr. Gupta stressed the importance of involving both officials and local residents in maintaining cleanliness across the city. He suggested forming WhatsApp groups in neighborhoods, connecting municipal officials with residents to prioritize sanitation work and ensure regular monitoring.
