In view of the intensifying cold wave and severe winter conditions, the Jaipur district administration has announced holidays for students studying in both government and non-government schools.
As per the orders issued by District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, students up to Class 5 will remain on holiday until January 10, while students from Classes 6 to 8 will have holidays until January 8.
The decision has been taken based on the weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, which predicts continued cold wave conditions and a further drop in temperatures across the district.
Important Guidelines
The holiday applies only to students.
Teachers and non-teaching staff are required to remain present in schools during this period.
Scheduled examinations will continue as planned, without any changes.
The District Education Officers (Secondary and Elementary Education), Jaipur, have been instructed to ensure strict implementation of these orders across all government and private schools with the support of Block Education Officers.
The administration has also warned that strict action will be taken under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, against any school found violating these instructions.
The move aims to safeguard the health and well-being of young students during the ongoing cold wave conditions in Jaipur district.
