Hey guys, today I'm going to tell you the fascinating story of Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur!
Legend has it that the fort was haunted by the spirit of a prince named Nahar Singh, whose spirit obstructed construction of the fort. Nahar's spirit was pacified by building a temple in his memory within the fort.
Nahargarh Fort was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, as a defense fort on the outskirts of the city.

Later in 1880s Sawai Madho Singh II Expanded the palace by adding series of palaces known as Madhavendra Bhawan.
what make them unique is that they were in a sequence, each connected to the other but with seperate entrance to maintain the privacy of Royal women.
The fort offers stunning views of the city below and is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
The fort is also famous for its step-wells, which were used to store water during times of scarcity.
