Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has assured residents that there is no shortage of domestic LPG cylinders in the state and that consumers will continue to receive an uninterrupted supply.
During a review meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday, Sharma directed officials to maintain strict monitoring of the LPG distribution system. He emphasized that authorities must take immediate and strict action against hoarding and black marketing to ensure fair availability of cylinders for all households.
Strict Monitoring of Distribution System
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining transparency and efficiency in the supply chain. He instructed officials to stay vigilant and ensure that LPG cylinders reach consumers without delays or disruptions.
He reiterated that the state currently has sufficient LPG stock, and the government is committed to maintaining a smooth and continuous supply for domestic users.
Quick Resolution of Consumer Complaints
To maintain public confidence in LPG availability, Sharma also directed authorities to promptly resolve complaints received through helpline numbers 181, 112, and 14435. Officials were asked to treat these complaints with priority and take necessary action wherever irregularities or misuse are reported.
Additionally, he instructed departments to closely monitor and take strict action against individuals spreading rumors or misinformation regarding LPG shortages.
Government Taking Active Measures
During the meeting, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara informed that the state government has been implementing effective measures to keep the LPG supply system running smoothly.
He stated that the government is continuously monitoring LPG availability, stock levels, and distribution across the state. Inspection teams at the ground level are also conducting regular checks and taking necessary action to prevent irregularities.
A representative from the State-Level Coordination Oil Companies also presented detailed information about the current LPG stock and supply status in the state, confirming that adequate supplies are available.
