Rajasthan has achieved a significant milestone in the energy sector under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, reinforcing the state’s journey towards self-reliance in power generation and distribution.
At the All India DISCOMs Association’s Annual Awards Ceremony held in New Delhi, Rajasthan DISCOMs were honoured with the Gold Award for their outstanding performance under Component-C of the PM Kusum Scheme. The award was presented by Union Minister for Power, Shri Manohar Lal, recognising Rajasthan’s effective implementation and impact of the scheme.
On Wednesday evening, Rajasthan DISCOMs Chairperson Ms. Arti Dogra formally presented the Gold Award to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma. Expressing his happiness over this achievement, the Chief Minister congratulated all officers and employees of Rajasthan DISCOMs for their dedication and hard work.
Shri Sharma emphasized that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government remains firmly committed to promoting the use of solar energy and solar pumps among farmers. These initiatives aim to provide affordable and clean energy, while also contributing to an increase in farmers’ income.
He added that this national recognition further strengthens the state’s resolve to ensure daytime electricity supply to farmers by 2027, marking another important step towards sustainable agriculture and energy security in Rajasthan.
