Rajeevika Rangotsav (Holi Fair) Inaugurated at Secretariat to Boost Women Entrepreneurship

Rajeevika Rangotsav (Holi Fair) was grandly inaugurated at the Secretariat to promote women-led Self-Help Groups and strengthen the “Rajsakhi” brand. The three-day event showcases eco-friendly Holi products, traditional foods, and handcrafted items from 13 districts of Rajasthan, empowering rural women entrepreneurs through direct market access.

In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening the marketing and branding of products made by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), the grand inauguration of Rajeevika Rangotsav (Holi Fair) was held at the Secretariat premises.

The event was formally inaugurated by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas. The occasion was also graced by Shreya Guha, Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department, and Neha Giri, State Mission Director, Rajeevika.

A Step Towards Strengthening Women-Led Enterprises

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Secretary appreciated the efforts of women Self-Help Groups and stated that marketing platforms like Rajeevika Rangotsav provide a new direction to women entrepreneurship while playing a crucial role in strengthening the rural economy.

The Additional Chief Secretary highlighted that the products developed by women groups are fine examples of quality, innovation, and traditional craftsmanship.

During the event, senior officials visited the Rajeevika stalls and interacted directly with women entrepreneurs to understand their products, packaging methods, and marketing strategies.

The State Mission Director of Rajeevika emphasized that such exhibitions provide SHGs with direct market access, allowing them to receive valuable customer feedback and improve their offerings.

Participation and Exhibition Details

Rajeevika Rangotsav is being organized at the Secretariat from February 25 to 27, 2026.

  • Participation from 15 Self-Help Groups

  • Representation from 13 districts of Rajasthan

  • A total of 10 stalls set up at the venue

The exhibition features a wide range of products including:

  • Herbal gulal (eco-friendly Holi colors)

  • Traditional food items

  • Gujiya and Thandai products

  • Herbal and wellness products

  • Gift and decorative items

  • Soft toys

  • Wooden and crochet products

Keeping the festive season in mind, special emphasis has been placed on eco-friendly and herbal products.

Promoting “Rajsakhi” Brand and Women Livelihood

The primary objective of Rajeevika Rangotsav is to provide market recognition to women-led enterprises, strengthen the “Rajsakhi” brand, and promote sustainable livelihoods for women across the state.

This initiative marks an important step toward increasing sales opportunities and offering better market platforms to Self-Help Groups, further empowering women entrepreneurs in Rajasthan.
