About this class
Our creator has bought many hand-painted sarees over the years. At Deep'z Rustic in Jaipur, she painted one herself: large white flowers and olive leaves on an ivory organza saree.
Deepali teaches the class 1-on-1, offline or online. She takes you through everything from mixing the colours and understanding the dyes to actually painting on fabric.
The painting is done in Deep'z Rustic Acramin dyes, which leave a soft, non-stiff finish on fabric. It's artistic and relaxing, and you go home having learnt something creative.
