Departments were directed to accelerate pending hiring, begin approved budget works and prepare drinking-water and fodder arrangements in districts at risk of drought. The statewide review also covered employee training, government files and public complaints.

The 45,645 possible appointments form part of the ongoing recruitment pipeline. Departments were asked to update appointment information for the next employment fair and coordinate with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and Rajasthan Staff Selection Board to move pending recruitment forward.

Srinivas also called for effective representation in recruitment cases pending before courts. For the coming year's recruitment examination calendar, departments must count vacant posts and send recruitment requisitions promptly.

Budget delivery, training and public complaints

The meeting reviewed budget announcements for 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27. Departments were told to advance pending commitments and begin works for which approvals have already been issued.

Spending against the schematic budget reached Rs 1,01,969.52 crore by the end of September 2026, compared with Rs 87,695.12 crore in the same period a year earlier. The increase was 16.28%. Departments were directed to review fund use regularly and coordinate with the relevant Union ministries.

Under Mission Karmayogi, more than 8.33 lakh employees had been onboarded to the iGOT platform, with Rajasthan ranked second among major states on the KPI dashboard. Srinivas asked employees to devote at least one hour each Saturday to training and directed departments to narrow the gap between course enrolments and completions.

Departments were also instructed to clear pending e-files and correspondence promptly. For complaints registered on Rajasthan Sampark from March to October 2026, officials reported a 99.56% disposal rate and an average disposal time of 12 days.

Water and fodder preparations for districts at risk of drought

District in-charge secretaries were directed to visit districts at risk of drought, assess conditions and coordinate advance arrangements with collectors. The Public Health Engineering Department was asked to prepare a contingency plan for drinking-water supply.

The directions included opening fodder depots where needed and ensuring adequate drinking water at gaushalas. The meeting also called for effective steps to prevent crimes against women and improve conditions for children engaged in labour.
