Jaipur has many reputed and actively working swimming clubs. Many of them offer swimming classes for all age groups. However, amid COVID, only a few are now open. Therefore, we have personally visited or had telephonic conversations with the management to know their COVID safety protocols, available batches, timings, and coaching fees. Here is the list with gathered information:
Oriental Martial Arts & Sports Academy: It is one of the best institutes in Jaipur providing systematic swimming training. They have an indoor pool with an ultraviolet ozone filtration plant. Batches are available between 5.30 am-11 am and 6 pm to 10 pm. The coaching fee is Rs. 3000/- per month. Management informed us that a hot pool is available during winters so that swimmers can continue coaching and practice.

Kanoria Swimming Pool – Next on our list is the Kanoria swimming pool. The pool is indoor. The facility is well maintained and hygienic. Management informed us that water in the pool is changed daily and is chlorine-free. Only one batch is available for three years and above. The timing is 7 to 8 in the morning. The coaching fee is rupees 2500 monthly + Rs. 100/- registration.

GS Swimming Pool: It has an outdoor pool. Fully two automatic machines purify the water to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards. Also, they have real-time pH scaling to check and maintain the water pH level. Trainers are well experienced. Only one batch is available from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. The coaching fee is Rs. 3000/- per month.

SMS Sports Academy – Swimming Batches at SMS Sports Academy is available from 7am to 9 a.m. and 5 pm to 7 p.m. The coaching fee is Rs. 2500/- per person. They have National level coaches. Pool water filtration and sanitization is done to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

SMS Stadium swimming pool: We do want to add SMS Stadium swimming pool to our list. SMS Stadium has two international size swimming pools with temperature control facilities and is functional throughout the year. However, amid COVID, the pools were temporarily closed and are opened from 1st September only for the students taking part in the Kaval competition. We talked with the management. The pools will probably be opened for swimming classes and training for all from next year, March or April.
